how is it installed
SavaLight is designed for retro-fitting into existing installations, no
modifications are required to existing light fittings. SavaLight is simply
wired into the electrical circuit
between the power distribution board and
lighting load. SavaLight may be mounted vertically, horizontally or hung from
false ceiling hangers. Just one qualified electrician can complete an
installation in approximately 30 minutes. Interruption to lighting is only a
matter of minutes.

The graph below is reproduced from the Technological University of Oslo, published by Lysteknikk and is the only known independent source to have investigated “under running” of lamps. SavaLight “under runs” the lamps and in doing so extends the life of the tube by over 30% based on these figures – that’s another 4,000 hours of added Lamp Life to 17,000 hours for triphosphor tube. The light level is always within the tube manufacturers guidelines.
